Kenwood Knoll - Sonoma County
What we love about Kenwood Knoll
Situated in the heart of the Valley of the Moon, Kenwood Knoll is an idyllic 3+ bedroom family retreat just minutes from some of the region’s best wineries and restaurants. Set on over an acre of beautifully landscaped gardens, this open-plan estate offers you sweeping views overlooking the valley and an elevated balcony from which you can watch the sunset or the orange harvest moon rise over the rolling hills. After exploring local wineries, a swimming pool and spa await you in the gated courtyard, where you can enjoy meals under the gorgeous arbor together in the privacy of your own home. Much of the charm of Kenwood Knoll is in the details — the inviting seating in every corner of the house, eco-friendly bamboo flooring, a soapstone kitchen island intended for multiple home chefs, not to mention the fragrant floral aromas surrounding the courtyard patio, including jasmine, honeysuckle, citrus and violet wisteria vines which bloom in the early summer.
Good to Know
Kenwood Knoll is located in a quiet neighborhood at the top of a knoll (at the bottom is the entrance to Annadel State Park, a beautiful hiking destination). Divided into two separate buildings, the guest house at Kenwood Knoll has its own private entrance apart from the main house, an especially ideal setup for multiple families travelling together. The guest house boasts an ensuite, queen-size bedroom just steps from the outdoor patio and pool area, along with an adjacent suite housing two twin beds. In addition, each of Kenwood Knoll’s air-conditioned bedrooms provide you with direct access to the outdoors and the winding trails that explore the property’s ancient oak woods. The main living and dining area does not have AC but offers sweeping sliding glass doors that provide comfortable air flow throughout the year.
Please note that due to dry conditions, we do not allow the use of the wood burning fireplace in this home outside of winter stays.

Guest Comments
"We had a great time at Kenwood Knoll. It may be one of the most relaxing trips we have ever taken as a family. In fact we hardly left the property unless we needed to restock food & wine. Thanks for making it so easy for us. " - Miles S
"Fantastic home in a great location. We stayed with extended family and there was plenty of room to spread out, but also large central areas to spend time together. We loved our stay. The beds are extremely comfortable, the kitchen is fully equipped, the hot tub is large and hot, the A/V system was great (Pandora for music, Apple TV and Cable) and there's plenty of every day supplies provided at the house. Also, I highly recommend booking with Beautiful Places in Sonoma. They made property leasing very easy and were extremely responsive!" - Melainie M
