In 2013 BeautifulPlaces acquired McLaughlin Anderson, the largest luxury vacation rental management company in the Virgin Islands. Over the ensuing five years, BeautifulPlaces built-up an intimate knowledge of the islands and the best vacation homes on each one.
In 2017, hurricane Irma swept through the Virgin Islands destroying many vacation homes and businesses there. When we learned it was going to take 2.5-4 years for the islands to recover, BeautifulPlaces decided to cede management of vacation homes to local agents, in favor of providing professional marketing and reservations services for our homeowners.
Today we represent many of the original properties from the McLaughlin Anderson portfolio and have begun to add more in 2024. Our years of experience in providing professional, knowledgeable and friendly advice to Americans seeking a rewarding island vacation experience remains a key strength and competitive advantage for our homeowners and their guests.
